    Slope intercept form is: y = mx + b.

    In order to get x to the other side, you subtract it on both sides.

    3y = - 5x + 30

    But in slope intercept form, y can’t have any number in front of it. To get rid of the number, divide both sides by 3

    y = - 5x/3 + 6

    Get rid of x first - 5x then divide the rest
