Find the area of a circle with diameter 31.6 cm both in terms of pi and to the nearest tenth use 3.14 for pi

    D=31.6 cm

    r=31.6/2=15.8 cm

    Area of circle = pi*r^2

    A=pi * (15.8^2)

    In terms of pi: A=249.6*pi cm^2

    Using 3.14 as pi: A=783.9 cm^2
