A rectangle's length is 11 inches greater than its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 42 inches, find the length. (all answers are given in inches.)

    42/2=21 (is the sum of both lengths)

    2x+11=21

    2x=10

    x=5

    length = 16

    width=5
