If 4x-3y=12, what is x in the terms of y

    X = 3/4Y + 3 you have to get X by itself & simplify.

    4x-3y=12 for x

    4x=12+3y

    x=12+3y/4

    4x-3y=12 for y

    -3y=12-4x

    y=12-4x/-3
