    Step-by-step explanation:

    We want to find the volume of the tent.

    The tent is in the shape of triangular prism.

    The tent is compose of two solid shapes

    1. A rectangular prism

    2. Triangular prism

    The volume of the rectangular prisms

    V = length * Breadth * Height

    The parameters are

    One of the rectangle is 8 by 5ft and the other side is 8 by 6ft. Then, the height of the rectangular prism is the common value of 8ft.

    Length = 6ft, Breadth = 5ft and Height = 8ft

    Then, the volume is

    V_1 = 6 * 5 * 8

    V_1 = 240ft³

    The volume of the triangular prism

    V_2 = base area * height

    The parameters of the triangular prism

    The base is a rectangular base 5 by 6ft.

    The height of the triangular prism is 4ft

    Then, the volume is

    V_2 = 5 * 6 * 4 = 120ft³

    Then, the total volume of the prism

    V = 240 + 120 = 360ft³

    The total volume of the tent is 360ft³.
