What number (s) should be distributed? 5 (x-4) + 2x-3

    You should distribute 5 to (x-4) because you need to solve from left to right wich equals 5x-20+2x-3. Then after that combine like terms wich is 5x and 2x wich is 7x the combine - 20and - 3 wich is - 23 and your answer is 7x-23

    The number 5 should be distributed because it's being multiplied by (x-4) anyways, and it's the closest to it.
