If the length of a rectangle is equal to triple the width. Which system of equations can be used to find the dimensions of the rectangle if the perimeter is 86 centimeters?

    If the length is 3*width then length+width=4*width and the perimeter is 8*width=86, width=86/8=43/4=10.75cm.

    The length is 3*10.75=32.25cm.
