1.4n+2=2n+3.2. How would I solve this equation?

    I'm pretty sure you just do basic algebra. you would subtract 2n from both sides. then its 14n-2n = 12n. then 12n + 2 = 3.2 do you know what to do from there?

    subtract 2n from both sides ...

    -0.6n+2=3.2 subtract 2 from both sides

    -0.6n=1.2 divide both sides by - 0.6

    n=2
