How do you simplify 8 (2x+1) + 3?

    First write out the equation

    8 (2x+1) + 3

    Distribution

    8*2x+8*1

    16x+8+3

    Combine like terms

    (16x) + [8+3]

    Since 16 x is alone u write it just as

    16x

    So then you have 8+3 which is 11

    Since your simplifying you'd write ur

    Answer as

    16x+11
