A bag of fruit contains 3 apples, 2 oranges, 1 banana and 4 pears. What is the probability that I will pull out a banana first and a pear second?

    1/2 if simplified. If you don't want it's simplified then it's 5/10

    The probability of pulling out a banana is 1 out of 10 (which is not high) and of choosing a pear second is 4 out of 10 (which is higher)
