    A jewelry maker will use 24 jade beads and 30 teal beads to make necklaces each necklace will have the same number of jade beads and teal beads

    To get the greatest number of necklaces we need to find Greatest common factor

    To find GCf we take the factors of 24 and 30

    24 = 1,2,3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24

    30 = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30

    Greatest common factor is 6

    She can make 6 necklaces

    The number of jade beads = 24 / 6 = 4

    The number of teal beads = 30 / 6 = 5

    so 4 jade beads and 5 teal beads
