The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 292 feet. If the width of the garden is 67 feet, what is its length?

    79 is the length because

    292-2 (67) = 158

    158/2 = 79

    Perimeter = 2 * length + 2 * width

    292 = 2*67 + 2x where x = the length

    2x = 292 - 2*67 = 158

    x = 158/2 = 79 feet

    Length is 79 feet
