Each dimension of a rectangular family room is 3.5 times larger than the rectangular bedroom. if it costs $312 to carpet the bedroom, how much would cost to carpet the family room with the same carpet?

    So,

    I'm assuming that this is a simple multiplication problem.

    All we have to do (I'm assuming) is multiply 312 by 3.5.

    312 * 3.5 = $1092

    It will cost $1092 to carpet the family room with the same carpet.
