    (1/5k - 3k) + 3 = - 6 k

    -14/5k + 3 = - 6 k Combine likes terms

    -14/5k + 3 + 6k = - 6k + 6 k Add 6k to both sides

    16/5k + 3 = 0

    16/5k + 3 - 3 = 0 - 3 Subtract 3 from both sides

    16/5k = - 3

    (5/16) * (16/5k) = (5/16) * (-3) Multiply both sides by 5/16

    k = - 15 / 16
