The height of the object after x sec is modeled by:

    h (x) = - 5x^2+20x+60

The height of the objct at the time it was launched will be given as follows:

when the object is launched, x=0.

hence the value of h will be:

    h (0) = - 5 (0) ^2+20 (0) + 60

    simplifying the above we get:

    h (0) = 60

    Answer: 50 m
