Which equation can be used to find the unknown length, b, in this triangle?

A right triangle has a side with length 4 inches and hypotenuse with length 5 inches. The other side is labeled b.

4 squared + b squared = 5 squared

4 squared minus b squared = 5 squared

5 squared + 4 squared = b squared
