ABC has side lengths of 10 units, 20 units, and 24 units. XYZ is similar to ABC and its longest side is 60 units in length. What is the perimeter of XYZ?

    The longest side of XYZ is 60 and for ABC it is 24. So, XYZ's sides are 2.5 times longer than ABC's. The other XYZ sides are

    20 * 2.5 = 50 and

    10*2.5 = 25

    XYZ Perimeter = 60 + 50 + 25 = 135 units.

    Double Check

    ABC's Perimeter = 10+20+24 = 54

    XYZ'x Perimeter = 54 * 2.5 = 135
