If you vertically stretch the reciprocal parent function, F (x) = 1/x, by multiplying by 8, what is the equation of the new function?

    The new function should be f (x) = 8/x. When multiplying a fraction by a non-fraction, the non-fraction is multiplied by only the numerator of the fraction to get the result. (Some is better than no explanation; ))
