    The factors given seem to be:

    x - 14

    x + 7

    x - 7

    x - 2

    x + 2

    x + 14

    I will reconstruct the possible trinomials from each pair of factors:

    1) (x - 14) (x + 7) = x^2 - 7x - 98; this means that if the trinomial is x^2 - 7x - 98 the factors are x - 14 and x + 7

    2) (x - 14) (x - 7) = x^2 - 21x + 98; this means that if the trinomial is x^2 - 21x + 98, the factors are x - 14 and x - 7

    3) (x - 14) (x - 2) = x^2 - 16x + 28; means that if the trinomial is x^2 - 16x + 28, the factors are x - 14 and x - 2

    4) (x - 14) (x + 2) = x^2 - 12x - 28; means that if the trinomial is x^2 - 12x - 28 the factors are x - 14 and x + 2.

    5) (x - 14) (x + 14) = x^2 - 196 this is not a trinomial, so these cannot be the pair of factors.

    6) (x + 7) (x - 7) = x^2 - 49; is not a trinomial

    7) (x + 7) (x - 2) = x^2 + 5x - 14; if the trinomial is x^2 + 5x - 14 the factors are x + 7 and x - 2.

    Enough with those cases, you should be able to use this method if you want to.

    If I had the trinomial I could find the factors in this way:

    Suppose the trinomial is x^2 + 16x + 28

    1) Write (x) (x)

    2) Add the signs (first sign is the sign of 16x and the second sign is the product of the signs of 16x and 28 = >

    (x + ) (x + )

    3) Find two numbers that added are 16 and multiplied are 28.

    Those numbers are 14 and 2, because 14 + 2 = 6 and 14 * 2 = 28

    So, the factors are (x + 14) (x + 2)

    Now you have the method and several examples to find the solution.
