You can buy 3 apples at quick market for $1.17. you can buy 5 of the same apples at stop and save for $2.40 which store is the better buy?

    The simplest way to do this is to find the amount for each apple. To find the amount all you have to do is divide the total amount by the number of items. (1.17/3) That should equal to. 39 cents per apple. For the other, (2.40/5) it should equal. 48 cents per apple. The first option saves you. 9 cents more than the second option.
