6.29 rounded to a whole number

If your were to round 6.29 to the nearest whole number it would round to 6, because the tenths place is less than 5.

My answer was 6, Because 6.29 has 2 in the tenths place, so i turn 29 to 00 then i get the whole number all you need to do then is take off the decimal and you will get 6 as your answer if this is to confusing i am very sorry but if its not good luck!
