What's the perimeter of a semicircle with a diameter of 12 miles?

    The perimeter, or circumference, of a circle is pi x diameter. A semicircle would just be 1/2pi x diameter. In this case, that would equal 6 pi. If you are supposed to use 3.14 as pi, then it would equal 18.84.
