The perimeter of a basketball court is 9696 meters and the length is 6 meters longer than twice the width. what are the length and width?

    P=2 (l+w) = 9696

    -> l+w = 9696/2 = 4848

    l=6+2w

    6+2w+w=4848

    6+3w=4848

    3w=4842

    w=1614

    l=6+2w = 6+2x1614 = 3234
