    Width of box is 3 feet

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given,

    Volume of a box = 30 cubic feet

    Length of box = 4 feet

    Height of box = 2.5 feet

    We need to find width of box.

    Since, Volume of box = Length * Height * width

    Now plug values for volume, length and height in the above formula and find width.

    So,

    30 = 4 * 2.5 * Width

    30 = 10 * width

    Width = 30 / 10 = 3 feet

    Hence width of box is 3 feet.
