    The Pythagorean theorem is a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where a and b are the legs, and c is the hypotenuse. We know the legs are 25 and 37, so we have 25^2 + 37^2 = c^2

    625 + 1369 = c^2

    1994 = c^2

    Take the square root of both sides to get c

    44.65 = c
