The new line will have the same slope since it is parallel, so it will be y=-x as the start. to find the rest of the equation you use y=-x+b, plug in the numbers you know (-2,-2) and get - 2=2+b and solve. Subtract the 2 over and get 0=b and plug that into the final equation. y=-x+0. you don't need the + 0 so it is just y=-x.
