The area of a circle is 706.5 square inches. What is the radius? Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

    What you know is

    area=706.5in^2

    formula is 3.14*r*r

    what to do is set up an equation

    706.5=3.14*r*r

    after you divide both sides by 3.14 to cancel it out your left with

    225=r^2

    then you would take the root of both sides to get

    r = 15, - 15
