We are given this mathematical statement.
8 + 11x - 5x + 6
What we can do is combine like terms. (this is if we are simplifying)
Combining like terms means we take the normal constants like 8 and 6 and add those together and the variables 11x and - 5x and add them together.
If we do this correctly would should end up with this answer.
6x + 14
