    3. If it took 1 week, which is 7 days, to hike 45.5 miles, then do 45.5/7 to find out how many miles they traveled per day. They traveled 6.5 miles per day.

    4. 2 weeks is 14 days. Do 110/14 to figure out the average number of miles they paddled per day. 110/14 is 7.9 miles rounded to the nearest tenth.
