To raise a product to a power, raise each factor to the power.
To raise a power to a power, multiply the powers.
To multiply powers with the same base, add exponents.
(3p^4) ^4 * (p^2) ^7 =
= 3^4 * (p^4) ^4 * p^14
= 81 * p^16 * p^14
= 81p^30
