A recipe for cake is 3/4 of cup of milk. You are making 1/2 of the recipe. How much milk do you need?

    Answer is 3/8 cup (or 1/4 cup plus 1/8 cup) There are all sorts of ways to figure this out. Here is one: 1/2 x 3/4 = 3/8
