    34 miles, 92.40-75=17.40/0.5 = 34.8 miles, simplified to 34.

    Y = 0.05m + 75 ... where y is the cost of renting the vehicle

    so if u paid 92.40 ... then y = 92.40

    92.40 = 0.05m + 75

    92.40 - 75 = 0.05m

    17.4 = 0.05m

    17.4 / 0.05 = m

    348 = m < = = = the person drove 348 miles
