    5x-2y=-9

    (-2,5)

    x=-2

    y=5

    therefore: 5 (-2) - 2 (5) = - 10-10=-20≠-9 ⇒ (-2,5) is not solution.

    (2,-4)

    x=2

    y=-4

    Therefore: 5 (2) - 2 (-4) = 10+8=18≠-9 ⇒ (2,-4) is not solution.

    (1,-3)

    x=1

    y=-3

    Therefore: 5 (1) - 2 (-3) = 5+6=11≠-9 ⇒ (1,-3) is not solution.

    (-1,2)

    x=-1

    y=2

    Therefore: 5 (-1) - 2 (2) = - 5-4=-9 ⇒ (-1,2) is the solution.

    Answer: (-1,2)
