    A power is the product of multiplying the base as many times as the exponent says

    Here are the example of powers:

    5^5, 5 is the base, 5 is the exponent and the product would be the power

    => 5 x 5 = 25 this is the product of the second power

    => 25 x 5 = 125 this is the product of the third power

    => 125 x 5 = 625 this is the product of the fourth power

    => 625 x 5 = 3125 this is the product of the fifth power
