Evaluate each expression if x = - 2, y = - 3, and z = 5.

2x + 3y + z

x - y

3x2 - 2x + 1

3y (x + x2 - y)

    Basically what you have to do is substitute the variables for the values

    -4+-9+5 = - 8

    -2-3 = - 5

    2 = 2

    6-4+1 = 3

    -9 (-2+-4--3) = 27
