Is 78/11 a whole number or mixed number

    Here are some clarifications: a whole number is a number without fractions, and a mixed number is a number that has a whole number and a fraction. For 78/11, it is neither a whole number or mixed number, instead an improper fraction as the top number (numerator) is larger than the bottom number (denominator). However, if you were to put 78/11 into a mixed number (which you can) is by dividing 78 by 11 and writing down the remainder instead of finishing it off.

    Below is the problem I wrote on paint with just the trackpad (not too neat)

    The answer is (1 7/11)

    In order to put the mixed number into a fraction is by multiplying the bottom number (denominator) and whole number which is 77 then adding the top number (numerator) which equals 78/11.
