How to do word problem with addition or subtraction of integers

For Addition, if the signs are the same, you add and keep the sign. And if they are different, you subtract and keep the sign of the greater absolute value.

For Subtraction, You change the subtraction sign to the addition one and then follow the rules of addition, above.
