What is 6.95 to one decimal place?

I know how to round to the nearest tenth but if you round this, it just goes to a whole number!

    The answer is 7.0. When you want to round to the nearest tenth, you need to leave only one decimal. The second decimal is 5. So, the first decimal will be rounded to the first bigger number. In this case 6.95, the first decimal number 9 will increase to 10 which means that the number 6.95 will be rounded to a whole number: 6.95 = 7.0
