If you were in a middle school classroom and trying to find the best way to represent the age of the people in the classroom, would it be a good idea to use the mean, or the median? Give an example of why.

    The mean because it will give you the average of the ages in the room and if you use the median it may skew the results because the median may be an inappropriate representation of the ages in the room. Potentially giving you a higher or lower number than what the average might be.
