What is the measure of an angle if its two, adjacent, supplementary angles add up to 100°?

    Let x = the measure of the angle.

    Because the sum of the two supplementary angles is 100°, therefore

    x + 100° = 180°

    x = 180 - 100 = 80°

    Answer: 80°
