Part B: Show that one of your expressions in Part A is equivalent to the given expression using algebraic properties. Explain which properties you used.

Part C: Show that your other expression from Part A is equivalent to the given expression by substituting a number for m.

    B. 3 (m + 5 + 9m) ... distributive property

    (3 * m) + (3 * 5) + (3 * 9m) =

    3m + 15 + 27m

    C. 3 (m + 5 + 9m) = 3 (10m + 5) ... m = 1

    3 (1 + 5 + 9 (1) = 3 (10 (1) + 5)

    3 (1 + 5 + 9) = 3 (10 + 5)

    3 (15) = 3 (15)

    45 = 45
