How many solutions exist for the given equation?

3 (x - 2) = 22 - x

    the answer is B: one

    step 1. distribute to get rid of the perenthises

    you should end up with 3x-6=22-x

    step 2. add x to both sides to get 22 by its self

    you should now have 4x-6=22

    step 3 add 6 to both sides

    so now you should have 4x=28

    step 3 divide 28 by 4

    so you would end up with x=7 so the answer is one solution.
