Mr. Henderson has 2 bouncy ball vending machines. he buys one bag of the 27 millimeter balls and one bag of the 40 millimeter balls. he puts a n equal number of each in the 2 machines. how many bouncy balls does he put in each machine

    You need to subtract 27 from 40 so it should look like this 40-27 = and 40-27=13 so he put 13 balls in each machine.
