Absolute change: - 7,215 Education Degrees

    Relative change : - 7.3%

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Absolute And Relative Variation

If a quantity changes from C1 to C2, the absolute variation can be calculated as the subtraction of C2-C1. The relative variation is computed with respect to a reference, which usually is the original value.

We know that there were 98,838 Bachelors degrees awarded in 2014 and 91,623 degrees awarded in 2015. The absoulte change is 91,623 - 98,838 = - 7,215

    The relative change is - 7,215/98,838 = - 0.073 = - 7.3%
