What is the area of a triangle whose vertices are R (-4,2) R ( - 4, 2), S (1,2) S (1, 2), and T (-5,-4)

    The area of that triangle would be 5 units².

    The formula for the area of a triangle is 1/2bh; with b being base and h being the height.

    The base of the triangle is length of segment TS which is 5 units

    The height of the triangle is 4-2 = 2 units.

    5*2=10

    10:2 = 5
