    Hey there!

    0.2 (10 - 5) = 5c - 16

    switch sides:

    5c - 16 = 0.2 (10 - 5)

    subtract the numbers : 10 - 5 = 5

    5c - 16 = 5 * 0.2

    multiply the numbers : 0.2 * 5 = 1

    5c - 16 = 1

    Add 16 to both sides:

    5c - 16 = 1 + 16

    5c = 17

    divide both sides by 5:

    5c / 5 = 17 / 5

    c = 17 / 5
