Alexis counted 16 commercials while watching 30 min of tv. At this rate, how many commercials would play in a day

    There are several information’s that are actually of immense importance, already given in the question. Based on these information’ s the answer to the question can be easily deduced. We already know that

    24 hours = (24 * 60) minutes

    = 1440 minutes

    Then

    In 30 minutes the number of commercials shown = 16

    so

    In 1440 minutes the number of commercials shown = (16/30) * 1440

    = 768

    So the number of commercials shown in 24 hours is 768.
