    Using the proportion,

    $15.75 / 3 movies = X / 12 tickets

    X = ($15.75 * 12 tickets) / 3 movies

    X = $63.00

    15.75/3 = 5.25

    1 movie ticket = $5.25

    12 movie tickets • 5.25 = $63.00. To buy 12 movie tickets it costs $63.00.
