    M x 1/3 + 2. The variable is Marcella's age. If Marcella is 63, one third of her age is 21 so 21+2 = Justin is 23. Aimee is 23x2-4 so she is 62 years old.

    J = (1/3) m + 2, and

    a = 2j - 4

    If Marcella (m) is 63, then Justin is (1/3) (63) + 2, or 23. (23 years old)

    Aimee (a) is 2 (23) - 4 years old, or 46-4, or 42 years old.
