Describe a linear function for which the least value in the range does not occur at the least value of the domain, that is, the least value in the range is not the initial value.

    Consider the linear function

    y = - x, - 5≤x, y≤5, in the interval [-5,5] where x and y take any real number.

    Here minimum value of range i. e x is - 5 which occurs at when y=5 i. e at largest value of domain.

    And minimum value of Domain i. e y is - 5 which comes at maximum value of range i. e at x=5.
